Maybe you like them and maybe you wear them and maybe to you they are the greatest thing since sliced bread, but I personally detest Crocs and all the ubiquitous knockoffs, pseudos and wannabes. I detest them with the heat of a thousand melted plastic injection mold forms.
But these are cute and un-Croc-ey enough that if I were to somehow acquire them, and if they didn’t gross me out in person too much, I'd find a way to remove the logo. Perhaps with a metal file and a small blowtorch, like the kind you use for creme brulee.

We were at the Denver Children's Museum today and LB noticed every child there was wearing Crocs. He suggested we got a pair for The Pea. I said hell to the no.
As any good mother should Raina!
Robin, I am with you on this. I recently saw a cute silver pair of sandals, but resisted. And because I'm currently wearing Birkenstocks as my go-to summer vacation shoe, I really don't have a leg to stand on.
Raina - My kid wore them about 4 years ago, and I was grateful for them like I was grateful for any shoe without laces. (He used to have this thing where the laces would have to be EVEN lengths after the bow was tied... oh my goodness.)
Oh crocs! I write a design/ interiors blog (www.highglossblue.blogspot.com) and also really enjoy fashion-BUT my manfriend has 4 pairs of crocs including croc-siders, google it- guarantee you will be equally horrified! Your's are not nearly as bad!
I so want someone who has the mary janes to tell me about the seaty stinky factor. Because honestly? These are so cute and that is all that is holding me back.
Maybe they would be good for gardening? As I posted on my blog post, I'm kind of a contrarian, so I think Crocs are right up there for me, with empire-waist tops and other popular things.
Never have I detested a certain footwear so much. I have just been hoping that they would go away fast.... but they are lingering..... here in Australia. Ugggh! A-M xx
Ha. I've got a friend who is still trying to convince me to buy some. She thinks I have mistreated my children by not putting them in Crocs, but I can't bring myself to do it. I did break down and buy my daughter a pair of knock-off Crocs from Target similar to the blue one pictured here when she begged me, but that's as far as I've gone with this trend.
ugly-yes. but perfect to wear on the boat or yard work. and they never wear out, well at least the 3 or 4 years i have had my one pair.

Are they comfy? I've never sported a pair. I'm afraid with my long gangly feet, I'd really look like a clown! They look adorable on my little cousin though!
I have those. In purple. We shall neevr speak of it again.
I soooooooooooooooo do NOT like those shoes... THANK GAWD you don't wear them... I would hate to be drinking a glass of wine with you and have to look at those HORRIBLE shoes on you... LOLOLOL!!!
This is gross but don't people's feet sweat? It's plastic.
I detest Crocs. I don't even think they are cute on kids. Not even cute kids.
They are hideous.
I understand why they would be good for gardening---but why would ANYONE wear them anywhere else but the garden or the path leading to the garden? Ick.
Why would anyone where them anywhere else but in the garden??? Let's see...because they are: comfy, airy, laceless, cushiony, don't trap dirt, protect your toes, don't fall off, have a great grippy sole, and are convenient as heck! Can you say all that about YOUR shoes???
Hi, I just wanted to leave a comment to say how much I've enjoyed reading your posts.

Best wishes and thank you for sharing it !
I will surely like them. LOL!!! Actually I have like this already. It is my favorite!!!
